New Mouses

The other thing i discovered in my quest, was that the little laptop mice are bad for your ergonomics. I was using a Microsoft Notebook Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, and my arm was aching.

I realized this when I was working on my desktop where I had a Logitech G5 gaming mouse. Well it so happened that BestBuy had G5 mice on sale for $50, so I bought two more.

Much better.

Although now I am considering mouse pads. I kind of like the slim plastic ones, but after much consideration I'm wondering if maybe the XTrac Ripper XXL might not be a bad idea. It's a cloth pad which is 36" wide and 18" deep. Their would be plenty of room for the mouse, and I wouldn't have to worry about placing keyboard such that it'd hit the level of the mousepad. Another factor, I'm wondering about is if it'd insulate the desk slightly for my arms, as it seems like the desk itself gets cold.

Unfortunately newegg.com is out of them, so I'll wait. But at only $15.95, it's worth trying.
